19/06/2010 · Personally, I would prefer a wide ratio five speed and a three speed auxilliary with direct, over or under (depending on the rear and main box), and a serious granny. Even an electric shift 2 speed axle (the old Eaton 1302s were sweet but heavy) ahead of a 5 or 6 speed with a serious granny in the tranny would be nice (and less work to drive).
